About Natasha

I love traditional, earth based knowledge, and have dedicated my life to learning the Old Ways-

of healing, of tending the land, of learning, of living.

I have been blessed and incredibly fortunate to learn from several incredible and brilliant female mentors, and have spent the last decade learning as much as I can about nature, health and healing.

I believe traditional knowledge is best passed from hand to hand, mentor to apprentice, from generation to generation. And so my training has come from my relationships with my amazing teachers and from my own personal experiences.

Sarah Preston, community herbalist and Reiki Master, Katie Singer, author of Garden of Fertility and The Wholeness of a Broken Heart, and Fertility Awareness instructor, and Cori Neilson, founder of the Sacred Childbirth with Reiki Techniques have all spent time training me, teaching me, helping me, mentoring me and for that I am deeply and utterly grateful.

To these three women, and the many others I have learned from over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for instructing me and helping me find my place in the world.

I am an herbalist, Reiki pracitioner certified in levels I, II and Sacred Childbirth with Reiki, FAM instructor and professional gardener/Permaculturist/Naturalist certified via the Kamana Naturalist Training Program through The Wilderness Awareness School located in Oregon State. I have also completed a number of classes in the Elements series, developed by Starhawk, taught here in Lancaster by Sarah Preston.

I am a writer, environmental activist, mother, wife, auntie, daughter, and lover of this great big wild wonderful world, earth.

You can see more of my work at https://theyearofblackclothing.wordpress.com/, https://theminutiaeproject.wordpress.com/ and in Liminal, a novella, my first work of fiction.

I believe skills of self reliance like herbalism, gardening, hunting and gathering, etc. are our birthright and feel passionate about passing on what I have learned, and continue to learn, to as many people as possible.

Love,

Natasha
